  Haiku Plantation Inn is a wonderful place in Hawaii that is away from crowds, commercialism, and traffic. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and tropically decorated. Since it's a B&B, a big part of the charm is sitting at the dining room table with other guests and enjoying really good food. I met some very interesting people at breakfast. The grounds are peaceful, serene, green and lovely. Bart, the cat, gave us a "narrated" personal tour. Sitting on the wicker furniture on the front porch with a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine, is just the ultimate way to relax and enjoy. If you want to be inside, the living room is comfortably furnished and complete with TV, magazines, games, and a beautiful view. There is a stunningly beautiful beach 5 minutes away, and all the tourist amentities are easy to get to. The proprietor is friendly and accommodating and goes the extra mile to assure warm hospitality. It is the perfect place for a TRUE vacation! I can't wait to come back.
